Steve Clarke has been in the motor trade as a vehicle technician for 30 years and during that time has worked on many marques of car. Steve has attended manufacturers training courses giving him valuable experience in VAG cars. In 2006 Steve will be attending various Bosch courses in line with being a Bosch service centre.
Steve feels that the automotive future will see many more electronic and computer functions on vehicles both in terms of safety and to allow Hybrid fuels to be used as the fossil fuels start to deplete. It is important that independent garages keep up with technology.
Steve says that he ‘really enjoys the atmosphere at Autotechnics, we all get on really well’. His hobbies include reading and walking, rumour has it that he’s a dab hand in the kitchen too!
Steve has been married for 17 years with one Son and one Labrador called ‘Poppy’
