COVID-19 LOCKDOWN #2. AUTOTECHNICS ARE OPEN. Our opening hours will be 08.30am to 5.00 pm weekdays and will not open on Saturdays. The customer reception will remain closed for access. Unfortunately we cannot offer any where to wait within the premises. We can supply a loan car service or free collection within a 5 mile radius. The car/key handover procedure will be as follows: Place the key in an envelope (supplied) mark it with your name, registration number and contact details. Pop the envelope containing your keys through the letter box. If you haven’t caught our attention, please call on 01747 824373 to tell us that your car is with us. We will then retrieve the key and carry out the work (using protective gloves) and when finished, we will park the car in the car park and wipe the steering wheel, gear selector and switches with antibacterial cleaner. We will then apply a protective covering over the cleaned surfaces. We will then call you and Payment will be taken over the phone with your card (Card details aren’t kept) We can send the invoice receipt by email if required. The key will then be placed into a key safe box. We will then give you the code to access your car key from an individual key box. We are also supplying anti bacterial hand gel to clean your hands. The Bosch name is well known for a variety of products ranging from domestic appliances and heating products to power tools and gardening equipment - all with a reputation for quality.

To ensure standards are maintained, garages must take part in a programme of quality and performance checks to ensure those standards are maintained.

Aims of the Bosch Car Service Code of Practice

The purpose of the Code is to set out the standards and practices of a Bosch Car Service garage so that you can make an informed and favourable decision as to the suitability of the services on offer.

All Bosch Car Service garages are required to comply with the provisions of the Code and fulfil all relevant statutory and legal requirements, in particular those relating to Trading Standards, Health and Safety, Environmental Protection and Employment.

All Bosch Car Service garages aim to offer an outstanding level of care and attention, as well as the highest standards of workmanship.

What is in the Bosch Car Service Code of Practice?

The Code explains the operational standards and procedures that Bosch Car Service garages will employ to ensure customers receive a proficient level of care and attention.

It describes how the Bosch Car Service garage will handle important legal and commercial measures in order to give further support to its customers.

The Bosch Car Service garage and Bosch have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and therefore would like to work with the customer to resolve any complaint fairly and quickly. Should, despite these efforts, the complaint remain unresolved, then the customer has the option of pursuing independent adjudication. The Code describes the complaint handling procedure.

Customers of the Bosch Car Service garage network have a real opportunity to help make the Bosch Car Service Code of Practice work to best possible effect, also to help Bosch monitor and improve the performance of individual Bosch Car Service garages. The Code details how customers can assist.

Finally, the Code describes the responsibilities of Bosch to ensure that the Bosch Car Service garages follow the provisions of the Code and also further develop the Code so that it remains of benefit to the consumer.
